We are a church family who are joined together through our Risen Lord Jesus Christ. He is our Lord, our Savior, and our Strength! We are ordinary folks living ordinary lives on a super-ordinary journey as we grow together in our faith and relationship with our Heavenly Father through His Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We would be glad to have you join us in worship.

What we believe…

One God three eternal Persons.

There is only one God who is three eternal, coexistent and coequal persons: God the Father; God the Son who is Jesus Christ; and God the Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 3:16-17, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14).

Sin is real.

All people are born with a sin nature and therefore fall short of God’s holy standard and violate His commands through the commission of sins. People are totally lost and guilty of sin apart from Jesus Christ (Romans 3:9-26, Romans 6:23, 1 John 3:4).

The Holy Spirit is the Father’s gift to each believer.

The Holy Spirit indwells every Christian and baptizes them spiritually bringing them into the body of Christ, His church at the point of their salvation. He continually fills each Christian with power to live a holy and obedient life for Jesus (Acts 2:38, Acts 13:52, Romans 8:14-27, Galatians 5:22-25, Ephesians 5:18-21).

The physical resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We believe in the physical resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and that He ascended bodily into Hear, and now is seated at the right hand of God as mediator, high priest, and advocate for every believer (John 20, Acts 1:9-11, Acts 3:12-26, 1 Corinthians 15:12-28, Hebrews 9:24, Hebrews 4:14-6).

The return of Jesus.

Jesus is coming again. We call it the second coming. He will come as the physically resurrected eternal King in great splendor and glory. He will come with His saints to establish His eternal rule (1 Corinthians 15:50-55, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation 20:11-15).

Satan and demons are real.

We do believe that Satan and his demons are real, personal beings who were first created by God as angels but rebelled against God’s authority in heaven. Since Lucifer’s (Satan) betrayal against God along with a third of the angels under Lucifer’s authority, Sata and his demons have waged war against Israel and the Lord Jesus Christ and His bride, the church (Isaiah 14:12-17, Matthew 4:1-11, John 8:44, Revelation 12:9-10).

Jesus is fully God, fully human.

We believe in the full deity and humanity of Jesus Christ. He is the Son of God. It was for Him and by Him that all things were created. He was born of the virgin and lived a completely sinless life. He is eternally alive (Isaiah 7:14, John 1:1-14, John 10:30-33, Colossians 1:16-19, Colossians 2:9).

Jesus is the only Lord and Savior.

Jesus Christ died for all people, offering His life as a substitute to atone for all sin. Everyone who believes and trust in Him as Lord and Savior (their only means of forgiveness for sin) are born again, justified and will inherit eternal life in God’s presence (John 3:1-18, John 17:3, Mark 10:45, Hebrews 2:9, Romans 5:8).

The Bible is revealed truth.

God knows we need constant reminders of what His love for us is and how we can live for Him. Therefore, He gave us both the Old and New Testaments which He verbally inspired without error in every word and concept as it was originally recorded. God’s Word is unchanging in truth and trustworthy to live one’s life by because it is the revelation of God. The Holy Spirit gives illumination, interpretation and understanding of the Bible (Psalm 19:7-11, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:16-21, John 14:26, John 16:12-15, 1 Corinthians 2:12-16).

There are two eternal destinies.

Heaven and hell are real. Heaven is a real place of eternal blessedness in the presence of God and hell is a real place of eternal suffering and separation from God (Matthew 25:46, 2 Corinthians 5:1-10, Revelation 20:11-15).

The church has a mission.

The mission of the church involves two things: evangelism and doing ministry. We are to fulfill the Great Commission in our community and throughout the world. Jesus commands all believers to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing new believers, and teach every believer to obey all that Jesus commands in His Word. We are also bring glory to God by living holy lives and serving others in love with good works or ministries. These ministries are evidence of our salvation and transformed lives. Good works or ministries do not earn our salvation in Christ Jesus, they are the result of our salvation in Christ Jesus (evangelism: Matthew 25:19-20, Luke 24:47, Acts 1:8, 2 Timothy 3:16-17; ministries or good works: 1 Corinthians 13, Ephesians 2:8-10, Ephesians 4:1-32, Titus 2:11-14; Titus 3:1-11, James 2:17).
